Brief Introduction:

Taihang Mountain, one of the greatest mountain range in central part of china. It extends over 400km starts from Hebei Province and end in south of Shanxi Province. Along this mountain range, there are many canyons, upright high cliff and cliffside tunnels, all these create a spectacular views along the biking trip.

There are also many small village along the Taihang Mountain, you will also get in touch the local people’s lifestyle when you visit the village and even stay with them.

Day by Day Itinerary

Taihang mountain

Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Flights: International flights arrange by yourselves or by TDT
Upon you arrive in Beijing, you will meet your Beijing local guide in the airport and then transfer to the city. The rest of the day is free time for you to get over the jet leg.

Day 2 Beijing / Xinxiang
Train: about 5 hours bullet train from Beijing to Xinxiang
In the morning, transfer to Beijing railway station for the bullet train from Beijing to Xinxiang city in China’s Henan Province.
After you arrive in Xinxiang city, you will meet our local guide in Xinxiang city and then escort to the hotel. The rest of the day is for your preparation before the biking tour.

Day 3 Xinxiang city ----54km----Nanzhai Town—21km—Guoliang Village. 75KM
Cycling about 66km from Xinxiang city to the Guoliang village. From Xinxiang to Guoliang, you will biking into the Taihang Mountain range area, the landscape will change from regular countryside will to spectacular mountain views.
On today’s trip, you will also experience the exciting biking on the cliffside tunnel—Guoliang tunnel which was digged in 1977. Stay in Guoliang village for overnight.

Day 4 Guoliang village
Visit the Wanxian Mountain Scenic Area. Visit the Redcliff Canyon, Lingshan Village, the Sky Ladder, etc.

Day 5 Guoliang Village----Wangmang Mountain ---- Xiyagou Canyon---- Huilong Village
Biking along the Taihang Canyon from Guoliang village to Huilong. On the way, you will bike through the Kunshan cliffside tunnel which is much longer than Guoliang tunnel, you will also visit the Wanmang Mountain and the bike through the Xiyagou Canyon. Tonight, stay in guesthouse in Huilong village.

Day 6 Huilong village---Huixian Town---Zhengzhou city
Visit the Huilong Scenic Area in the morning, then bike around 25km to Huixian Town, then take bus from Xinxiang to Zhengzhou city. Stay in Zhengzhou city for overnight.

Day 7 Zhengzhou—Exit
Enjoy some free time in the morning, then flight from Zhengzhou to your sweet home.
