This tour will take you to the only surviving ancient wonders of the ancient world, Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Cairo. You will visit the Mosque of Mohammad Ali and marvel at its stunning architecture. In Beijing you will visit the majestic Forbidden City and in Xian you will visit the Terracotta Warriors, one of the world's major archaeological discoveries. The Li River, one of the most beautiful places on earth, will leave you with memories that'll last a lifetime. Your tour will end in Hong Kong, one of the world's most exciting metropolises. This tour will make your travel dreams a reality.
Trip Highlights:









Day 01: Arrival/Cairo (D)
Special Dinner: Nile Dinner Cruise
Upon arriving at the Cairo International Airport, your guide will meet you and escort you by private car to your hotel to relax until the evening, when your driver will take you to the dock for your Nile Dinner Cruise. You will cruise down the Nile River on a large ship watching the city of Cairo pass by while enjoying a fantastic dinner buffet. After dinner you will be thrilled with a folklore performance followed by belly dancing. After the performances, feel free to go to the upper decks to enjoy the fresh night air and the beautiful city lights. After your cruise your driver will pick you up and take you back to your hotel.
Day 02: Cairo (B, L)
After breakfast you will be driven to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient world, the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. In the afternoon you will be driven to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to 5,000 years of art and the treasures of King Tut.
Day 03: Cairo/Beijing (B, L)
In the morning your guide will meet you and help you check out of your hotel. You will then begin your tour of Islamic and Coptic Cairo. Your first stop with be the 12th century Citadel Fortress, home to the impressive Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. You will then visit the Hanging Church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The Greek Church of St. George will be your next stop, followed by a visit to the Church of St. Sergius which is said to have been built over the crypt that sheltered the holy family during their flight from Egypt. You will then visit the St. Barbara's Church, which houses the remains of St. John. After your tour of Islamic and Coptic Cairo, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Beijing.
Day 04 Beijing
Upon arriving at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore China's capital on your own.
Day 05 Beijing (B, L, D)
Special Dinner: Peking Roast Duck
In the morning you will visit Beijing's magnificent Forbidden City, which is the largest palace structure in the world and the place where China's emperors ruled for over 500 years. In the afternoon, you will marvel at Beijing's splendid Temple of Heaven, where China's emperors annually went to pray to heaven and for good harvests. In the evening you will be taken out for an incredible Peking Duck Dinner.
Day 06 Beijing (B, L)
On this day you will visit one of the most amazing architectural feats in the world, the majestic Great Wall (Mutianyu Section). After your visit to the Great Wall you will be taken to the Sacred Road, which is a path lined with stone statues of animals, mystical beasts and officials who will serve the emperors of the Ming Dynasty in the afterlife.
Day 07 Beijing/Xian (B, L)
After breakfast, you will visit the exquisite Summer Palace, the imperial summer resort. With its perfect design, magnificent buildings, and enchanting landscape, it is the largest and most splendid classical garden in China. In the afternoon you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arriving in Xian, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out to discover what this amazing city has to offer.
Day 08 Xian (B, L, D)
Special Dinner: Dumpling Banquet
Unique Cultural Performance: Tang Dynasty Show
In the morning you will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors, one of the greatest architectural wonders in the world. After lunch, you will visit Xian's Ancient City Walls the best preserved city walls in China. You will then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and temple. The magnificent pagoda was built to house ancient Buddhist relics. Complete the day with a savory Dumpling Banquet and the Tang Dynasty show both located at Shaanxi Grand Opera Theatre.
Day 09 Xian/Guilin (B, L)
After breakfast, you will tour The Great Mosque, which built over 1,200 years ago is one of the largest and oldest mosques in China. You will then visit the surrounding Muslim community before being escorted to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most picturesque city in China, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own.
Day 10 Guilin/Longsheng/Guilin (B, L)
On this day you will be driven to the famous terraced rice fields of Longji (2 hours). These ancient rice terraces turn steep mountainsides into fields. After visiting this breathtaking area, you will be driven back to Guilin.
Day 11 Guilin/Yangshuo (B,L)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your Li River Cruise, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. After checking into your hotel, you will be free to explore Yangshuo and its famous West Street.
Day 12 Guilin/Hong Kong (B, L)
In the morning you will be driven back to Guilin (1.5-hours), where you will tour Elephant Trunk Hill. This elephant shaped karst hill is the symbol of Guilin. You will then visit Fubo Hill and Reed Flute Cave filled with dazzling stalactites that have taken on beautiful shapes. You will then be escorted to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Upon arriving in Hong Kong, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore this amazing metropolis on your own.
Day 13 Hong Kong (B, L)
On this day you will explore Hong Kong's unique blend of Chinese and Western cultures. Your tour will begin at Victoria Peak, the highest point in Hong Kong with offers stunning views of this vibrant city. You will then visit the floating community of Aberdeen and see people living, working, and shopping on houseboats as they have for centuries. You will then visit Repulse Bay on Hong Kong Island. Repulse Bay is one of Hong Kong's most luxurious areas featuring gorgeous sandy beaches and fantastic shopping. You will then visit the Wong Tai Sin Temple. This Taoist temple is Hong Kong's most famous temple.
Day 14 Hong Kong/Departure (B)
You will be free on this day until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
