Built in 590 during the Sui dynasty with Li River passing by in its east, the street, experienced wind and rains, is still well preserved. Now it is a busy and exotic slate street in Yangshuo County, about 2km long crammed with shops, pubs, cafés and hotels, where you can relax yourself and do some souvenir shopping.

Elephant Trunk Hill:
Elephant Trunk Hill resembling a giant elephant drinking water from the Li River is the symbol of Guilin. It is situated majestically at the southeast of Guilin city and west bank of Li River. Originally named "Li Hill", "Yi Hill" and "Chenshui Hill", the hill has a history of 3.6 hundred million years.

With half of the hill stretching into the river, Fubo Hill, which is 120 meters long, 60 meters wide and 213 meters in elevation, stands solitarily in the northeast of the city and west bank of Li River. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks, hence it got the name. With this hill, you can see lots of statues of Buddha left about 1000 years ago in the Returned Pearl Cave and have birds' eye view of the whole city after climbing up to the very top.

Reed Flute Cave is 5 kilometers away from the city center and famed as "A Natural Palace of Art", in which you can see lots of stalactites & stalagmites illuminated by the lights of different colors and learn how they were formed. Got its name by the reeds used for making flutes and pipes growing at its entrance, the Reed Flute Cave is in fact a cave on the southern shoulder of the Guangming Hill (Bright Hill).
