2 nights / 3 days Guilin Trekking Tour

A saying goes, "Guilin scenery is second to none all under heaven."Believe it or not, during this one-day trekking tour along the picturesque Li River, you will have the chance to view the natural beauty of limestone mountains and river with unique rurality, stop at local villages to talk with local people, have picnic on the bank of Li River, or simply lie down on the grass to relax.

Day 1 Arrival / Guilin
Transfer via: international flight or internal flight on your own arrangement
You will be met and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 2 Guilin / Yangdi / Xingping ( B, SL )
In the morning, Our coach/van will take you to the Yangdi Pier (about 1 hour) where you start trekking.
First, take the ferry to the other bank and hike ahead on the pebbled road for about 3 km to Langshi village, where you take the second ferry to the other bank of the river. Along the way you can see the pastoral view like rice paddies, water buffaloes, etc. Hike on for about 30 min till you can see a Y-junction. The left one is along the river bank, hiking along which you can get nicer view. While the right junction you can get more shade.
After hiking 2.5 hours, a picnic will be arranged. After lunch, hike through rice paddies until you see a village, where you can get some good pictures. Trek to the end of the village to take the last ferry for this day. After getting to the other side of the river, go on hiking for about 1.5 hours till you get to Xingping Town.

Day 3 Xingping / Guilin ( B )
Transfer via: international flight or internal flight on your own arrangement
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to your next destination.


TIPS:

  • The best season for trekking along the Li River is May, June, September, October and November.
  • Comfortable running/hiking shoes are necessary. Do not wear sandals.
  • High-degree suntan lotion is strongly recommended. Caps, sunglasses are also necessary.
  • Mosquito repellent and repellent for other bugs is recommended.
  • Water is needed. We suggest you bring some salty water apart from mineral water, you can buy mineral water or other drinks along the way.
