If the above program is too short for your clients, here are several add-on tours:

Add-on Tours in Beijing:

A full day Hutong Tour by rickshaw plus Yonghe Lamasery (Lama Temple) and Beihai Park

Hutongs: the old narrow paths with lots of courtyard homes where common people are living, they are like villages within megalopolis, through the hutongs' teeming maze of alleyways, you will see the old houses and learn about the daily life of ordinary Beijing citizens.

Yonghe Lamasery (Lama Temple): the largest preserved lamasery in Beijing, a Buddhist lamasery of the Yellow Hat sect, a sect that's mainly associated with Tibet, it is an extravagant building of some beauty, inside the temple, in the center of the Hall of Infinite Happiness (Wanfuge), stands a grand statue, an 85-foot-tall Tathagagata (Maitreya) Buddha made from a single Tibetan sandalwood tree.

Beihai Park was transformed into a royal garden around a 1,000 years ago. This imperial park is set around artificial lakes and the finest example of a classical Chinese garden. It was once reserved exclusively for the imperial family. There are pavilions, temples, halls, and covered walkways, and you can rent a rowboat for the lake. There are four gates to the park, which includes a 36 metre high White Dagoba in the centre of one islet, a painted gallery, and the enormous tiled Nine Dragon Screen. The Fangshan Restaurant within the park is said to have been a favorite with the Dowager Empress Cixi, who was fond of 120 course dinners.

A full day tour to see the Fragrant Hills, Beijing Zoo and the Big Bell Temple

Fragrant Hills Park: this hillside park west of Beijing was once an imperial retreat and hunting ground. From the eastern gate you can hike to the summit on a trail dotted with shady pavilions and small temples. You can also ride a cable car to the top. In November, the frosted leaves of these trees, along with the persimmons and maples, spread over the Fragrant Hills like a thick red blanket.

Beijing Zoo: At present, the zoo houses over 7,000 creatures of 600 different species, including the giant panda, red-crowned crane and Pere David's deer-all unique to China-as well as the African giraffe, rhinoceros, chimpanzee and antelope; American continent; wild ox from Europe; and elephant and gibbon from India.

Big Bell Temple: home to the largest bell in China. The bell with 6.87 meters high and weighing 46.5 tons was cast in the Ming Dynasty in 1406, on which 227,000 Chinese characters from 17 different Buddhist scriptures are inscribed.
