In Guizhou, one of China's most remote provinces, lives the beautiful, hospitable, and hardworking Miao people. This is one of the most unique Chinese ethnic minority groups with gorgeous costumes, delicate silver jewelries, and admirable lifestyle. Every year on March 15th of Lunar calendar, young Miao girls make up and dressed up beautifully with headdress, hairpins, multiple neck-rings, chains loins, chest locks, and heaps of accessories, all made of silver, to celebrate the Sisters' Meal Festival. This is the oldest festival among the Miao minority. It is also the day when young boys and girls choose their lovers freely. Join us and submerge yourself in this exotic carnival atmosphere. It is going to be a great memory never fades away.

Day 1 Arrival / Guiyang ( D )
Upon arriving at the Guiyang airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax.
- Guiyang: the capital city of Guizhou Province, located on the east slope of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau with an elevation of about 1,100 meters. Nicknamed "The Kingdom of Mountains" as mountains and plateaus occupying 87% of its land, Guizhou is a typical area of Karst topography with features of fantastic mountains, clear river, pretty rocks and caves.

Day 2 Guiyang / Shidong Town (B, L, D )
In the morning, you will be driven 290 kilometers (4.5 hours) from Guiyang to Kaili and then to Shidong Town, along the way you will visit the Kaili Folk Museum and Matang Gejia Village. Stay overnight in Shidong Town.
- Kaili Folk Museum: consisting of exhibition halls with different themes, the musuem gives us detailed introduction to culture, geography and folk customs of minorities living in southeast Guizhou by using pictures, real articles and words.
- Matang Gejia Village: inhabited by Gejia people who is classified as Miao people by local government, but Gejia people deny to be Miao people. Gejia people claim to be the descendants of Houyi(the God of arrow in ancient times according to the legend), they have kept their way of living, their distinguished customs and costumes well. Gejia people are good at batik making.

Day 3 Shidong Town (B, L, D )
Enjoy the festivities of Sister's Meal Festival, and intoxicate yourself in the festive atmosphere. Stay overnight in Shidong Town.
- Sister's Meal Festival: the Valentine's Day for Miao people, when thousands of Miao people living around, especially young people will come to join the festival to find or meet their sweethearts. The Miao girls are the focus of the festival, they put on their beautiful costumes and flowery silverwares, and gather together to sing and dance around the wooden drums on the playground with young men till it gets dark. After dinner, the young people will go out to sing against each other to find their lovers, or the couples will have dates with each other. During the festival, if a young man takes a fancy to a girl, he would ask for the five-color glutinous rice prepared by the girl beforehand, the interesting thing is that the girl would not say yes or no directly but show her meaning by putting implicating article with glutinous rice, the young man then understands immediately. There are some other activities during the festival such as: bull fighting, bird fighting, horse racing and so on.

Day 4 Shidong Town / Kaili (B, L, D )
Enjoy more activities of the festival before driving back to Kaili, where you will stay overnight.

Day 5 Kaili / Guiyang (B )
Transfer via: Flight on your own arrangement
Free in the day until the transfer to Guiyang airport for your flight to the next destination.
