China City Tours - Shanghai

SHANGHAI, means "by the sea" in Chinese, one of the world's largest cities with a population of 16 million. As the gateway to the Yangtze River, it was forced to open by British in the First Opium War, this once sleepy fishing and weaving village was gradually changed into a colonial city.
Dynamic is the best word to describe today's Shanghai. Having benefited a lot from China's opening policy and economic reforms, especially the opening of the Pudong Special Economic Zone since 1990, Shanghai is now an important base for industry and commerce, science and technology in China and called as "Pearl of the Orient."
A typical Shanghai tour takes 3 days (2 nights), which should cover Shanghai's highlights such as: Shanghai Museum, the Bund and the Nanjing Road, Yu garden, etc. But if your clients do want to stay a few more days in this wonderful city, there are always a few add-ons available.
