Day 1 Arrival / Guilin

Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own.

Day 2 Guilin / Yangshuo (B, L)
After breakfast, you will be driven to the Pier to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. When you disembark in Yangshuo, you will be free to explore its famous West Street. I guess you never see what the live chook and duck are. After explore West Street, tour guide would take you to see a local market and try to learn argy-bargy with the hucksters.

Day 3 Yangshuo (B)
Free day in Yangshuo to explore the lovely town, there are different ways for you to choose according to your specific interests.
---Bike tour: you may take a bike tour along Jima Road to enjoy Yangshuo's beautiful country side and it would take your 2 or 3 hours. Along the route you will pass serene pastoral view, fantastic limestone mountains, peaceful farming villages, and roaming water buffaloes. If you like, you can visit one of the local farmer's home en route.
---Hiking: if you like adventure, you may choose hiking. The Moon Hill and Big Banyan Tree trek is very popular about 4 hours. Cross the Yu Long River about 1km from the retreat then head for Feng Lou Village watching out for some great photo opportunities. Cut across the Jin Bao River and head for Moon Hill, Yangshuo's most popular tourist attraction. Climb Moon Hill and visit Big banyan tree on the way back. Allow 3.5 hours walking and extra time to spend visiting the sites.
---Rock Climbing: You may challenge yourself with the thrilling rock climbing. There are numerous locations to climb around the Yangshuo region, with more than 200 routes documented in the current edition of the Paul Collis Yangshuo climbing guidebook. The most famous of these crags is Moon Hill with several 5.13 graded lines. Other crags of note include Low Mountain, Twin Gates, Baby Frog, The Egg, Bamboo Grove and Wine Bottle cliff.
---Cooking lesson: If you want to have leisure time. You may stroll around Yangshuo to enjoy local delicious food and then have a cooking class to try by yourself. The hands-on cooking lessons are set in a traditional courtyard house, with expert local guidance. Teachers reveal their techniques, and then it's your turn. Learn about classic southern Chinese cuisine.

Day 4 Yangshuo / Guilin/Kunming (B)

Before the tour guide meets you and escort you to the air port to Kunming in the afternoon. You will visit Reed Flute Cave to see something supernatural.
- Reed Flute Cave: 5 kilometers away from the city center, famed as "A Natural Palace of Art". The cave is filled with stalactites & stalagmites in a myriad of bizarre shapes. It is a showcase of nature's splendor.

Day 5 Kunming (B)
You will be driven to Kunming's famous Stone Forest and on the way the quaint Sani ethnic minority village. The Stone Forest is a bizarre rock formation created over millennia of rain and weather. A must-see!
- Stone Forest (Shilin): a 270-million-year-old limestone karst formation of tightly bundled gray rocky outcrops, a natural wonder acknowledged as "World Karst Landscape Museum", the Stone Forest shows a variety of unique shapes such as sword, mushrooms, tower, pillar, castle representing the greatest miracle that the nature can present to human beings.
- Sani ethnic minority village: Sani women favored three-layered skirts of red, black and white, tunics, embroidered fringed cloth bags and colorful headwear. A girl of Sani minority named Ashima is well known through out China because of her moving love story.

Day 6 Kunming / Departure (B)

Do you want to discover what the Chinese folk are? This morning, visit Kunming's Flower Market followed by a visit to the beautiful Green Lake Park. Here, you would find out the people doing the morning exercise, playing birds, opera practice or some relaxing way which you never see. And in winter it is possible to see the Siberian Black-headed Gulls around the Green Lake. Then you will visit a part of old city zone -- Jinmabiji. There are lots amazing attractions around of you and you have to go through this area by foot only. You will be escorted to the Kunming airport for your flight back home. If you have more time, you may continue to have extension to Lijiang. Service ends.

Day 1: Take evening flight to Lijiang from Kunming
Upon your arrival at Lijiang, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own leisure.

Day 2: Lijiang
First of today, you will have a tour of the Ancient Town which also called Dayan Town, built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty with a history of more than 800 years. Later, visit the Baisha Mural Paintings Baisha Township, there are altogether 53 groups of mural paintings in different temples with fine and smooth lines, bright colors, vivid pattern and harmonious composition. At end, go to the Lion Hill, you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the ancient town and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain far away.

Day 3 Lijiang
Free day for your own arrangement to explore this immemorial town or you may take an optional tour to catch your eyes on the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and then going to experience minorities' customs in these exotic areas from Yufeng Temple and Yushui Village.
---Optional tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: after breakfast, drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, followed by a trip to the Yufeng Temple. The mountain is so called because it looks like a flying jade dragon from afar. The mountain consists of 13 peaks and sprawls 35 km from north to south, its glacier is the modern oceanic glacier closest to the equator in the Northern Hemisphere. By taking the cable car up to certain height, you can enjoy the expansive mountains views and snowy scenery.

Day 4 Lijiang / departure
Enjoy the fresh air in the morning and explore the lanes in the old town, you may find some old local people with Naxi dress. Then fly to Kunming for your flight back home.
