Day 1: Arrival / Bangkok
Transfer via: Flight, arranged on your own
Upon your arrival in Bangkok, your personal guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore this exotic city at leisure.
Note: Strict dress code for visiting palaces or temples. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeve no tank tops. If you’re wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks. (No bare feet). Similarly, women must be modestly dressed, no see-through clothes, bare shoulders, etc.

Day 2: Bangkok
After breakfast, start to discover Bangkok with your private tour guide and driver. This private Bangkok tour will take you to the colorful flower and vegetable market to experience real local life.
Your next visit in the morning is the highlight of today's tour - the renowned Grand Palace, one of the must-sees that adjoin Wat Phra Kaew, the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. Have lunch at a local restaurant near Grand Palace.
After lunch, see Thai houses and typical rural life along the canal in your seat of a long-tail boat, and escape from the crowds and heat of the city.
Wat Arun will be the last stop today, which is one of the most published images of Bangkok.
Note: The Grand Palace in Bangkok will be closed several times in each year due to Thai Royal activities.

Day 3: Bangkok / Ayutthaya / Bangkok
Transfer via: Private vehicle, arranged by TDT
After breakfast, drive north to Ayutthaya for a journey back in time to the former capital which is now UNESCO's World Heritage site. You will start your sightseeing from the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, one of the most beautiful Summer Palace of Thailand. Later, have a visit to Wat Maha That, a classic temple ruin of Ayutthaya and famous for the picturesque Buddha head engulfed by the Bodhi tree roots. The foundation size, remaining prangs, and towers attest the significance during its time.
After a delicious Thai lunch, continue to the Ayutthaya Historical Park and tour the ancient palace ground. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, once the most significant temple during the Ayutthaya period. End with Viharn Phra Mongkolbopit, home to a large bronze Buddha image. Its rebuilt pristine hall was believed to be a replica of the old Assembly Hall of Ayutthaya.
After the tour, back to your hotel in Bangkok for a restful night.

Day 4: Bangkok / Siem Reap

Fly to Siem Reap, the most famous city of Cambodia. your private guide will wait for you and take you to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day and recover from your journey.

Day 5: Siem Reap
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and then transfer to South Gate of Angkor Thom, visit Bayon Temple and Elephants Terrace. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Bayon Temple, the heritage of the world; then, continue to enjoy sunset view at Bakheng Hill (or at less crowded Pre Rup temple).

Day 6: Continue to Visit Siem Reap
An early morning trip to enjoy the stunning sunrise of Angkor Wat may is a great experience for you. Breakfast either at the hotel or take away is available. Start your day by visiting some local villages along the way to Banteay Srei. Have lunch at a local restaurant for exotic cuisine. Ta Prohm Temple and Ta Keo Temple are your next stops before some leisure time in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Siem Reap / Hanoi

Enjoy your free time until be transferred to the airport for your flight to Vietnam. Arrival in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, your local guide will meet and take you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours at leisure.

Day 8: Hanoi
In the morning, explore Hanoi by touring some major historic sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo prison and Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, you will visit the Museum of Ethnology and cycle through the Old Quarter of Hanoi (by Rickshaw) (about 1hr). Your last stop is Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple inside it. Later, enjoy a Water Puppet Show to learn more about Vietnamese traditional culture.
Note: Please note that the HCM Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays and most museums are closed on Mondays.

As the ship cruises back to the pier, your Halong Bay trip will come to an end. Disembark after Brunch, and then your guide and driver will wait for you at the pier. Then, drive to Hanoi airport for a late afternoon flight to your next destination. Goodbye!
