Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag.

On this day you will first visit Tiananmen Square followed by the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will have a leisure walking tour in the Hutongs (0.5-1h) and enjoying painting facial make-up of Peking Opera on a paper mask and watching the Crickets and Grasshoppers in the Hutongs. In the evening, enjoy the magnificent Kungfu show at Red Theater.

You will be escorted to the magnificent Great Wall (Jinshanling Section) to hiking for 2-4 hours. The Jinshanling Great Wall is 700 meters above the sea level. You can see Beijing from the highest place on the Jinshanling Great Wall. After the tour, you will be transferred back to Beijing.

Today you will visit the Beijing No.17 Junior High School. You will have a chance to have a class with local students. In the afternoon, you will visit the National Museum of China.

After breakfast, you will visit the Temple of Heaven and you will do 30-40 mins Thi Chi class taught by local master inside the park. Later, you will be escorted to the rail station to take the bullet train to your next destination--Xi'an

After breakfast, you will first visit the Xian Art Ceramics Factory to learn how to make a clay copy of Terracotta Warriors. After this interesting hands-on activity, you will go to visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors. After lunch, you will be transferred back to downtown and you will have 1.5- 2hrs cycling on the Ancient City Walls and then continue to visit Xian’s ancient Bell Tower.

After breakfast, you will tour the Grand Mosque and local Muslim food and clothing street. Before arriving at the airport, you will visit Hangyang Tomb on the way. Here you will do another interesting hands-on activity--stimulated excavation. Take a flight to your next destination--Chengdu.

You tour guide will pick you up from your downtown hotel at about 7:30 am and then escort you to the Dujiangyan Panda Base to do panda volunteer activities (around 1.5 hours drive). When you get there, a professional panda keYou tour guide will pick you up from your downtown hotel at about 7:30 am peers will give you a short training of Panda's information after signing up with your guide's help. All activities will start at 9:00 am. As a volunteer inside the Panda Base, you will get a chance to keep close to the Pandas, such as: cleaning their houses, feeding them, etc. A simple lunch will be arranged in the panda keepers' canteen. Later in the afternoon, you can try the self-made panda cakes and then finally get the certification of a volunteer. After finishing all activities, you will be escorted back to Chengdu to enjoy leisure time in Jinli Old Street. Then back to the downtown hotel.

Today you will be driven to Longsheng (about 2.5-3 hours drive from Guilin) which is famous for the Terraced Rice Fields (also called as Longji or dragon's backbone). As well as view the breath-taking scenery, you will see the ethnic minority villages. After the tour, be driven back to Guilin.

In the morning, drive to Zhujiang Pier (about 40 to 50 minutes drive) to start the boat cruise along the tranquil Li River which is the highlight in Guilin until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and reflections in the water together with the serene pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes; you are certainly walking into a traditional Chinese painting by cruising on it. At Yangshuo, after roaming through the West Street, you will enjoy the countryside tour for about 1-2 hours for a round trip by bicycle.

Today, you will be driven back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive), where you will tour Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave. Later, you will visit Tea Science and Research Institute of Guilin to learn how to pick tea from tea plantation and how to stir-drying tea. After your valuable Guilin History & Culture Tour, our guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to the most cosmopolitan city--Shanghai.

After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Later, you will walk down the Bund, Nanjing Road along the Huangpu River and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai city from the Shanghai World Financial Center. In the late afternoon, you will have an hour's leisure walking in Shanghai Urban areas. On the way, you will get a chance to see the local people's daily life and the old Shanghai buildings. The past, present and future of Shanghai will catch your eyes.

After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to the railway station for the high-speed train to Suzhou. (about 0.5h, no guide service on the train). Upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to have a city tour in Suzhou. Firstly you will visit the quiet Lingering Garden and then visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how pure silk products are made from a small cocoon. Later you will take the rickshaw tour in the old town and enjoy Suzhou canal tour with the hand-rowed boat (about 40 minutes). Explore the Pingjiang Old Street before you are driven back to Suzhou railway station for the high-speed train back to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai railway station, be met and transferred to your hotel.

You will be free until your guide escorts you to Longyang Station for the Maglev Train to the airport for your flight to your next destination. (Note: You need to take the luggage with you on the Maglev Train. If you have much big luggage, please tell your travel consultant to arrange the luggage transfer alone and pay the extra charge).
